In the study, Mindfulness-Based Attention Training (MBAT) co-developers Dr. Amishi Jha, Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Contemplative Neuroscience Mindfulness Research and Practice Initiative at the University of Miami, and Scott Rogers, founder and director of the Institute for Mindfulness Studies and the University of Miami School of Law’s Mindfulness in Law Program, were curious to see whether professional trainers who work with military personnel but have no background in mindfulness, could successfully teach MBAT to soldiers....

The revelation comes from musicMagpie, a UK-based company that specializes in refurbished electronics. The report titled Annual Phone Depreciation Report 2021, further mentions that the average smartphone user in the UK changes their phone every 16 months. This causes a depreciation of around 50% on the original value, musicMagpie found. “The 10 phones which held the most of their value at 12 months are all iPhones – making them the better investment for people who are likely to trade their device back in every year to upgrade,” the report said (via)....

Samsung had previously teased One UI 4.0 beta for the Galaxy S21 series late in July saying it is “coming soon”. But around that time, we didn’t have a timeframe. Well, we still don’t have an exact date but a Beta Operations Manager on Samsung’s South Korean forums confirmed that One UI 4.0 beta will begin in September. The Galaxy S21 Ultra was even spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench running Android 12 a couple of weeks back....

The Korean brand hasn’t talked much about eSIM support on the Galaxy S22 trio on its website. But the folks over at XDA Developers have confirmed that they can add an eSIM to their Galaxy S22 Ultra. And presumably, the vanilla Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ as well. The device tested was an unlocked variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The publication did not confirm the presence of eSIM functionality on carrier-locked variants....

The latest update for the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds 2 is already available to users globally over the air (OTA). The updated firmware versions for the two pairs are R190XXU0AVF1 and R177XXU0AVF1, respectively. The OTA package weighs 2.33MB for the former and 3.01MB for the latter, SamMobile reports.
