It’s all but confirmed that Samsung will launch its next-gen smartwatches in two models. While that’s unchanged from previous years, the company is rebranding the Classic model as Pro this year, and likely removing the iconic rotating bezel. The Pro model will come in a single size option (46mm) while the vanilla Galaxy Watch 5 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. There have been reports that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will feature premium materials such as titanium case and sapphire glass....

According to DSCC, a total of 6.1 million foldable smartphones were shipped globally in Q3 2022. Samsung shipped 5.2 million of those. Its latest clamshell foldable accounted for 52 percent of all foldable sales this past quarter. The Fold model that arrived alongside it in August had a 27 percent market share. Huawei’s P50 Pocket, which is also a clamshell model, followed the duo distantly with an 8.6 percent share of the market....

GM was pretty light on details for these two. But it looks like it’ll be similar to the Blazer and Equinox that are already out, just electrified. That’s something we’re seeing a lot of carmakers doing these days, as they transition to 100% EV. The Chevy Equinox EV is expected to sell for around $30,000. No word yet on the Blazer EV, but we’d expect a similar price. Currently, the Equinox starts at $25,800 and the Blazer starts at $28,800....
