Samsung has begun the Android 13 rollout for the Galaxy A73 5G in Malaysia. Users in the Asian country are receiving the big update with firmware version A736BXXU2BVK2 (via). A wider rollout should follow in the coming days. The handset is gaining the October security patch with this release, which patches about 50 vulnerabilities. While that isn’t the latest available, we are more interested in Android 13 and One UI 5....
This doesn’t come as a surprise either. Samsung went this route last year itself, shipping the Galaxy S21 series with Google Messages as the default SMS app. However, that was limited to international markets including Europe. The company is now bringing the US to the fold as well. As said earlier, Google Messages in Samsung’s Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 phones feature a different UI than the app you see in other devices such as Google’s Pixel series....
