In a tweet this morning, the official New World account made an announcement addressing the game’s development. Among other things like its highly valued user support for the game throughout the closed beta. Worth noting is that this is by far the shortest delay that the game has seen. According to Google, we’ll be seeing Sygic, Flitsmeister, ChargePoint, PlugShare, SpotHero, and ParkWhiz coming to Android Automotive. It’s interesting that Google is highlighting ChargePoint when I used the app on Android Automotive back in August when I checked out the Volvo XC40 Recharge. YouTube will be available in some models, but you’ll need to be parked for it to actually play video in the car. Google is also adding more features to Assistant in Android Automotive vehicles....

Apple has just released the iPhone 14 series, and we should wait at least one year to see the next generation of iPhones. But Ming-Chi Kuo argues that the company is now developing solid-state power and volume buttons, which would be similar to the home button design of iPhone 7, 8, and SE 2. Also, it would replace the physical/mechanical button design. Due to the nature of my work, I tend to switch phones often. There is always that one phone that I come back to between reviews, my daily driver, if you will. For quite some time now, that has been the Google Pixel 4a. That may sound quite weird, as I have a lot more powerful, and newer phones at my disposal.
