This announcement doesn’t come as a surprise to us though. We were already expecting this. Samsung implemented the final Android 12 AOSP (Android Open Source Project) in the third One UI 4.0 beta build for the Galaxy S21 series. The fourth beta release was all about bug fixes. So quite clearly, the company is done adding new features or making changes and improvements. All that remains now is some bug fixing and optimizations....

Though last year, it was still virtual, and the year before it was cancelled altogether, with an Android event later on in the summer. We’d expect a same time-frame this year, but it’s still unclear whether this will be virtual or in-person this year....

Google Meet started showing live translated captions last year. Following a brief beta period, the feature rolled out publicly in January this year. At launch, it supported real-time translations of English audio in French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. The company is now adding support for these languages the other way around. Moreover, Meet can also now show live captions for anything that the speaker says in English in multiple new languages....

When we want to buy a movie or a TV show from Google’s services, we used to go to the dedicated Play Movies app, but the company has phased that out in lieu of the Google TV app. Regardless, you could always resort to buying the content straight from the Google Play store. It doesn’t really matter, as the money is all going to the same company.
